Local Roots
Fairfield County has been my home since middle school. After graduating from Staples High School in Westport Connecticut, finishing my undergraduate from Clark University in Worcester Massachusetts, and a Master's degree from Southern Connecticut State University, I lived or worked in Stamford, Norwalk, Westport, Milford, and New Haven before buying my first home in the Fairfield Beach area. I live with my husband who commutes daily to NYU, my daughter who graduated from Elon University and is now working on her advanced degree from SCSU, and my two adorable dogs Roger (Havanese) and Charlie (Terrier mix)! I’ve made my big move during the housing bubble in 2004 and have never looked back!

My Journey into Real Estate
In case you'd like to know a little about Linda Raymond, I came to Westport, Connecticut in Fairfield County from New Jersey just before entering the eighth grade.
My Focus was on the Customer Long Before I became a Realtor.
After Staples High School in Westport, I went to Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts and graduated with a biology degree before returning to the area for my first job as a research assistant at Yale. I continued school part-time and earned a Master's degree from SCSU. My career then moved to corporate health and fitness in Stamford where I worked for consulting firms serving companies seeking to improve the health and productivity of their employees. I worked closely with the individual employees.
My Corporate Background Informed the Professionalism, Perspective, & Skills Foundation I Utilize Today.
I evolved into program design and management to reach populations in large companies like IBM with dispersed national locations. I worked with my team to develop and deliver innovative programming with a range of delivery strategies to engage employees wherever they were through their benefits and occupational health departments.
Yet, after 13 years of population-based programming and data management, I missed connecting face-to-face with people.
It's Personal and Monumental!
After purchasing my first home in 2004 in the Fairfield Connecticut Beach Area, I was amazed by how intense, emotional, and complicated the home-buying process really is.
If you're like most people, your home is your largest asset and holds tremendous emotional value, so it's not surprising that making a move is a monumental endeavor. Add to that the challenges of market conditions and process complexities, and the stress can be over the top!
Your home is your castle. It's where you live, love, grow, and now, likely where you work. It's where you are safe and sound.
